Large Handmade Fluted Agateware Stoneware Jar: Artisan Crafted Pottery for Stylish Kitchen Storage

My handmade medium-sized covered Agateware Storage Jar is crafted from three colors of stoneware. This jar is perfect for storing a variety of items, from pantry staples to tea or coffee. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, ensuring that no two jars are exactly alike. The unique marbling and patterns of the Agateware clay make each jar a one-of-a-kind work. With its secure lid, this jar not only adds a touch of elegance to your home decor but also keeps your items fresh and protected.

How it was made. I crafted this jar from a blend of three different clay types. After the initial firing, I glazed the interior with a warm sage glaze for a touch of elegance. To achieve a flawless finish, I wet sanded the exterior of the pot with diamond sandpaper, resulting in a smooth and tactile surface.
