Red Stoneware Clay Large Serving Bowl

Handcrafted from mica earthenware clay, this bowl is sure to the highlight of your table setting. The bowl is perfect for showcasing pasta, salads, pasta or fresh fruit, or displaying on its own. This bowl would make a great wedding or housewarming gift.

How it was made:

The bowl was wheel thrown with earthenware clay. After a first firing, the interior of the pot was glazed with a turquoise glaze and the exterior was burnished and left bare. The end result is a bowl to compliment food while letting the beauty of the clay show through.

Holds approximately 4 liters or 16 cups of food.
