Handcrafted from a red stoneware clay and finished with a matte black glazed interior; this small bowl is sure to the highlight of your home. The five by three inch bowl is perfect for serving appetizer dips, soups, snacks, and salads.

How it was made:

I use a bright red stoneware to throw theses bowls. I alter the rim for a stylish affect. After trimming a foot, I let the bowl slow dry for one week. I fire it for the first time and then sand the exterior of the bowl for a smooth finish. I glaze the interior with a matte black glaze and fire it again. The final result is a functional piece of art. The bowl is microwave and dishwasher safe. All of my glazes are deemed food safe.
