Collection: Fluted Agateware

My pottery is a reflection of the places I've been, the landscapes I love, and the colors that catch my eye along the way. Living in Central Oregon, I'm surrounded by the rugged beauty of the high desert, towering mountains, winding rivers, and endless skies. My travels to places like Moab, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon have also left their mark on my work.

Much of my pottery is inspired by the way nature shapes the world around us. The carved patterns in my pieces remind me of water slowly winding its way through stone, revealing layers of color and texture over time. I use a variety of reactive glazes to capture the rich blues, greens, and earthy tones of the landscapes I love.

But I also have a playful side when it comes to color! My neriage pottery brings together layers of colorful clay—sometimes bold and vibrant, sometimes soft and earthy. I laminate different colored clays, throw them on the pottery wheel, and carve through the surface to reveal the beautiful, unexpected patterns hidden beneath. Every piece is a little adventure, and no two are ever quite alike.

Whether I'm working with the natural colors of the desert or a bright palette of colorful clays, I love the process of turning a simple lump of clay into something beautiful and useful.

Every piece is handmade in my Central Oregon studio, inspired by nature, shaped by experience, and created to bring a little joy to everyday life.
