Enjoy your morning tea in this Neriage colored porcelain teapot. I design my teapots to pour cleanly and look beautiful. The teapot is 5 & 1/2 inches tall with a 4in opening. Whether you’re hosting a tasting party or just want to add some pizazz to your daily coffee/tea ritual, this is a great addition for your life!

About the construction: This teapot is part of my collection of colored clay. I make these pots as both works of art and functional ware. I color the clay with bright mason stains, then layer it into a block of clay. I throw the clay into the form, trim the pot, and carve through the layers. I'm especially interested in exposing the layers and patterns beneath. After the first firing, I glaze the interior and handle with a coordinating color. The final step is to hand-sand the pot's exterior so it is smooth to the touch. I seal the outside of the pot with liquid quartz for durability.
