I made this carved agateware utensil crock from three different colors of stoneware. It provides an elegant storage for all of your essential kitchen tools. I threw the kitchen crock on an electric pottery wheel. After trimming, I carved a fluid design on the crock. After a first firing, I sanded the exterior with diamond sand paper and glazed the interior and lip with a reactive butter glaze.
