Handmade Wide Mouth Bass Travel Mug with Lid – 20 oz

Take a little of the outdoors along with your morning coffee. This handmade ceramic bass travel mug features an original bass design and lure that I silk-screened onto the mug. It also includes a reusable locking lid and is made in the US. It is a unique gift for fly fishermen, anglers, outdoor lovers, and anyone who would rather be on the river.

How it is made: I throw speckled clay on a pottery wheel to make the cup. After trimming, we apply a silkscreen of a bass and fishing lure made from my original art. After bisque firing, we glaze the top lip and interior with a green glaze that we make in our studio. As a final step, we sand the bottom of the mug to make it smooth for your countertop.

Where it is made: We make all the pottery in our Central Oregon pottery studio on our small farm. It is a family-run business that my son-in-law, Matthew, and I run. Because every piece is handmade, slight variations in the clay, glaze, and artwork make each trout mug one of a kind.
