Born to Wander Sgraffito Dragonfly Stoneware Mug 16 Ounce Handmade Pottery Coffee Cup

To create this mug, I first threw and trimmed the stoneware form on the pottery wheel. Once the mug reached the perfect stage, I applied a rich black underglaze and carefully carved the dragonfly artwork and lettering using the traditional sgraffito technique, revealing the clay beneath. After the bisque firing, I hand-painted selected areas to enhance the design and make the colors pop. The interior is finished with a beautiful purple liner glaze, creating a striking contrast with the carved exterior.
