Fluted Agateware or Nerikomi Ceramic Bottle - Oil Dispenser - Ceramic Oil Bottle - Oil Bottle - Christmas Gift

I made this bottle with the cook in mind.   I created the bottle by throwing layered colored clays together.  When it was fairly wet, I carved through the layers to expose the design below.  I then used my hand to make a handle hold by pressing in the wet clay.  After firing a green glaze was applied to the interior to make it food safe.  After the glaze firing, I sanded the exterior with diamond sand paper.  This makes the exteriors extremely touchable.

The bottle makes a great oil, vinegar, soy sauce, etc container.  It also looks pretty just sitting on your counter.
