Summer colors inspired this Neriage travel mug. I color porcelain to create richly pigmented clays. I layer the clays and throw them on a pottery wheel. Once I trim the mug, I carve through the layers to reveal the designs underneath. I pick the dominant color showing through and use a similar glaze to complement the designs.
