Large Agateware Carved Pitcher - Nerikomi Margarita Pitcher

I made this pitcher form with Margarita's in mind. But you could use this for any liquid, a display object, or a vase. This is part of my Agateware collection. I make the Agateware using layered clays. Each piece is a unique piece of art. I throw the layered clay into the form, then I trim it and carve it with fluid strokes. I do a first firing and then sand it using diamond sanding paper. I glazed the interior with a jade celadon glaze that I created and fire it for a final time.
